Patients in  Britain's National Health Service hospitals have death rates 45 percent higher than patients in U.S. hospitals. Patients in NHS hospitals are also five times more likely to die from pneumonia.
The amazing thing is that these figures are only coming out now, nine years later. In short, NHS hospitals are among the industrialized world’s worst, and America’s are the best in terms of survival rates.
This  illustrates the vast difference between having health coverage and having access to quality health care.
