Howard toasts his vindication

Increasingly it's a global  political, as well as economic, world. Australia is enjoying a George W. Bush-style "miss  me yet?" meme with the excellent John Howard in Bush's role.  Howard is a stalwart ally of the US, advocate of free enterprise and small government and,  as Prime Minister, he laid the groundwork for  an unprecedented boom Down Under, before being overthrown by an ungrateful electorate in favor of socialists like  the deeply unpopular -- and rather sinister-- Julia Gillard who has overseen  an economic plunge amid employer anxiety over proposed new taxes (sound familiar?)
 Revenge is a fine Aussie chardonnay, best served chilled.
