Merry news for Perry in two new polls

 CNN  reports that:
  •  The Politico/George Washington University Battleground poll  has Perry at 36 percent, followed by Romney at 17 percent.
  •  The NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll has  Perry at 38 percent for  respondent's first choice for the nomination, followed by Romney at 23 percent.
