Although part of me wants to fight these scurrilous, unsubstantiated charges made against me and publicized by the prejudiced mainstream media, I have reluctantly decided that it is in my family's best interest that I save them further anguish and remove myself from this race."
Translation: The wife hit me upside the head with a frying pan the minute I got home to "confer" with her.
