The Dung Beetle Award goes to...

"Telegraph this."

Today's Academy of Dung Beetles'  Award is being rolled towards Britain's  Telegraph newspaper which claimed that Michelle Obama spent $50,000 on lingerie at a Manhattan  store, without any source  [even anonymous]    for the amount. The White House says the report is '100 percent  false' and, in the absence  of sources or explanations  from the Telegraph, we have to assume this was, indeed, false.  Laughing Conservative  did  not mention the  report but,  since we try to use only  credible sources, we intend to delete the Telegraph from our permanent  links after allowing the paper  an  appropriate interval to investigate and publicly  explain what  occurred. Telegraph report is here.
