Dear Diary: Someone my staff has ratted on me, claiming that I thought I had won the Denver debate when I returned backstage. Well, of course, I thought that and I still do. I was restrained and thoughtful in my response to Mittman, maintaining my Presidential cool throughout. Anyone with a functioning frontal lobe knew that I could have unleashed a tidal wave of rebuttals, but my style is to seek common ground -- something that has worked so well with our Mid-East policy. I relish the prospect of the next debate when I will have my amazing Mid-East successes to call upon.
