John Bradshaw, is the foundational director of the Anthrozoology Institute at the U.K.'s University of Bristol and author of the new book Cat Sense, about the real stress worries for pet cats and the other hot-button cat issues of the day. Daniel  Mills [of the U.K.'s University of Lincoln says: "I don't think what has been found can in any way be interpreted as stroking cats, any type of cats, makes them stressed.
