Barack Obama's Diary

Dear Diary: During my golf game yesterday I instructed my CIA to unleash one of my UAV-mounted  missiles at a group of  enemies on my Kill List. Due to my abilty to multi-task I was able to give the OK just as I was hitting a beautiful drive. I yelled "Fore" and my CIA followed my order to my exact specification and took out  at least four of those I targeted. Gotta admire my precision.  We enjoyed Sunday at Camp David, in the cool mountain air, before we motorcaded  back to  join the common herd in the DC steambath. My faithful retainer, Marv, brought my blankey, Boo-boo, who helps to ward off  most Mitt-mares while I enjoy my regal  slumber. Time for beddie-byes, Boo-boo... Barry luv Boo-boo..um-num-num-um...zzzzz...

US 'to target Iran's ballistic missiles'

US armed forces are standing ready for war with Iran. DEBKAfile says that, without going into the thorny question of who should lead the operation to dismantle Iran’s nuclear program, it is understood that one of the US Air Force’s tasks will be to destroy Iran’s Shehab-3 ballistic missile batteries which have Israel and Saudi Arabia within range. Obama displaces thousands of beachgoers

Sherwood Island  at Westport, Connecticut, as I know from family beach walks when we  lived in NY, is as state park with a lovely, long stretch of sand that is precious both to the people of Connecticut and  nearby  New Yorkers.  But not this Monday, when thousands of beachgoers will be turned away so that President Obama, Man Of The People and presumptive savior of  the middle class, can use the location as a base for fundraising,  including a $35,800 per head bash at the $8.3-million waterfront estate of movie mogul Harvey Wienstein.  Read more.

Liberal media bias? What bias?

What liberal media bias? asks Chris Wysocki at Wyblog.
"There was a story in Thursday's Star-Ledger on the nationwide Chick-fil-A buy-cott. On Page 20, behind the obituaries, next to the police blotter. You probably missed it.
There's also a story in today's Star-Ledger devoted to the "kiss-in" held yesterday. Prominently featured on Page 3."

Barack Obama's Diary

Dear Diary: Happy birthday to moi! [that's French for Me for those who lack my extraordinarily comprehensive and costly education]. This has been a day fit for a king, as it should be, with my majestic self turning 51.  Eric Holder tried to cheer me up by saying: "Only 51? I've got ammunition older than that buried on the Mexican border." The day's real fun only began with an early round of golf at Joint Base Andrews, with the dew still heavy on the grass.  My companions, as usual, stayed a tactful stroke behind the boss.  Between holes  I  approved a drone attack  on someone on  my kill list in Waziristan: the CIA often call me on the iPresidentphone during  rounds of golf because they have discovered how I love to multi-task and look cool in  front of my golf partners. After my richly-deserved golfing victory, I was driven  onward to Camp David and the Presidential cabin, where I stashed my blankey, Boo-boo, under the Presidential pillows. The resilience of the Camp David Presidentopedic is irritatingly different from the one at the White House. The Presidential doctor suggested a mild sedative to help alleviate the increasing Mitt-mares as my poll numbers temporarily deteriorate. I declined, but I may take up the offer in the unlikely event that Mitt further erodes the profound affection for My Majesty in voters' hearts. Meantime I shall continue to rely on my blankey Boo-boo to soothe me to sleep. Barry luv Boo-boo, um-num-num-um...zzzzz...

Fury as Obama seeks to strip warriors of right to vote early

Florida congressman Allen West calls President Obama's decision "to unleash his campaign cronies against our Military ... unconscionable."
"As a retired Army officer I am appalled at the Obama administration’s actions to bring a lawsuit against the State of Ohio for the early voting privileges it extends to our Men and Women serving in uniform," West writes. "To have the Commander in Chief make our US Servicemen and Women the target of a political attack to benefit his reelection actions is reprehensible. The voting privilege extended to these Warriors who represent the best among us should not be a part of the collective vision of this inept President who is more concerned about his reelection than sequestration. As a Combat Veteran, for this President to unleash his campaign cronies against our Military is unconscionable….how dare this President compare the service, sacrifice, and commitment of those who Guard our liberties not as special and seek to compare them to everyone else. Barack Obama is undeserving of the title Commander-in-Chief."

Great Guffaw: Reid trumpets Mitt's elephant

"Ha! Ha!"
Today's Great Guffaw was richly earned  by Keith Koffler of White House Dossier:
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said today that an  “extremely credible source” has revealed to him that Mitt Romney has a pet elephant.
“I cannot disclose the source, but he – or she – is extremely credible,” Reid said.
The elephant, according to Reid, was shipped in to Boston from the planet Neptune last March and his been living with Romney at an undisclosed location ever since. Read it all.

Barack Obama's Diary

Dear Diary: Auuugh! Romney is invading my dreams again. Last night  I was once more in mortal combat with him, trying to dislodge his soft hands from my esophagus. I was yelling: "Curses on you Mitt," and thrashing around in the Presidentopedic to such an extent  that I woke up to find Michelle shaking  my shoulder and saying: "Wake up  Barry...wake up... you're having a Mitt-mare."  Now it's bedtime again and meantime my poll numbers have dropped even further.  Maybe this is no coincidence and Mitt is a vampire who comes to suck my life blood while I sleep. [Note to self: Ask the WH kitchen to create a necklace of garlic cloves, just in case] Meanwhile I will have to be content with my blankey Boo-boo to keep me safe. Barry luv Boo-boo...um-num-num-um..zzzzz..
