Barack Obama made one of his accustomed gutsy calls today, on same-sex marriage. He told an ABC interviewer that he was personally OK with ghey marriage but would leave it open to the states to decide. He said he had come to his personal conclusion after discussing it with his daughters. Let us hope that he does not allow them to decide weightier issues.
