You can trust us, says Obama.

President Obama, speaking in in San Jose, California, charged there was “hype” about the surveillance issue and assured listeners that those who conduct the surveillance can be trusted. He noted that both the Congress and the judiciary are overseeing the program, saying it would be a “problem” if people couldn't trust any of the branches of government.
The " problem" Obama describes shows the genius of the Founding Fathers  who  drafted the Constitution  with separate but equal executive, legislative and judicial branches  precisely because no single branch of government can  be trusted.
