Oh, shoot!

It was inevitable, of course,  Having achieved the goal of allowing openly gay and lesbian people to serve in  the military, pressure groups now want the armed services to accept  the transgendered . No problems there:
" Open fire, Smith!" 
"Yessir!"
 "you mean Yes, Mir"
"Sorry, Sa'am"
" ..Oh forget it... just shoot the damn enemy."
