Even with the vivid lesson of that appalling past debate, it seems President Obama still doesn't have enough grit to concentrate on his debate prep. He took a break Sunday afternoon to visit a local Democrat phone bank, bearing the inevitable pizzas and making a few voter calls. Conceited doesn't cut it as a description of this won't-work president. Indolent, maybe.
